Grief 101…Understanding the Journey

This one-hour presentation provides a general overview of the grief journey, including recognizing and understanding the symptoms of grief, the importance of self-care, and knowing when to reach out when you need help.  This presentation is helpful to those that are grieving as well as for the people that love them.  It's perfect for local community groups, libraries, funeral homes, senior centers, and any local association or group.

Holiday Hum Bug…Surviving & Thriving During the Holidays After a Loss

During this hour-long presentation you will learn how not to fall into “commitment overload” during the holidays.  This is a very stressful time for you.  Your family has been broken and more than likely you will not have the energy or desire to participate in family traditions.  And that is OKAY!  I will share some coping strategies to help you get through the holidays without feeling guilty.  This presentation is helpful to those that are coming up on their first holiday without their loved one.

  1. Learn to say “NO” to things you are not ready to do

  2. Create ways to honor the memory of your loved one during the holiday

  3. Start new traditions
